Just behind the cliff and the promenade, the parks represent an elegant link, 100.000 sq.m wide, between the hills and the sea. They offer pleasant walks among the palms, the cluster pines, the exotic trees imported by the noble families in the past centuries and the rose-garden, in flower from April to November.

Those who wish to add culture to the beauty of the nature, can choose either the Frugone collection housed in the Villa Grimaldi (seventeenth century), or the Modern Art Gallery in Villa Serra, or the Museum of Villa Luxoro. Here the collections of the 17thcentury statues for the Christmas Crib and furniture and table services coming from all over the world are exhibited.

In summer the villas and the parks, with their stupendous floral frame, are the suggestive scenary for the International Ballet Festival, the open-air cinema and the jazz concerts.
